Miscellaneous papers of Bowman and his family of Kilbourn (Wisconsin Dells), Wis. Included are fragmentary account books, papers relating to the sale of property in the Wisconsin Dells area and of land owned by Byron Kilbourn and Bowman, and two 1866 letters to his wife that he wrote while a member of the Wisconsin Senate which concern land grants and other legislative matters. Also present is a school arithmetic book, 1816, of his father-in-law, Abram J. Davis of New York.
